I just wanted to thank you for the amazing job you did on my 16th Century Italian Old Master painting. Not only did you make the repairs appear virtually unnoticeable, but the cleaning you did in removing over 400 years of old and bad varnish made the picture look so much more vibrant and alive, yet at the same time you were able to maintain the existing patina. The cleaning revealed additional visual items I did not know had previously existed, including the existence of "Roman sandal boots" on one of the male characters, as well as a "sitting column" for the woman character.
Your expertise in oil painting restoration is masterful.
